Good to know

Switch off both the lamp and the foot pedal after every appointment. Leaving them on drains the batteries continuously and shortens their life. The lamp head installs and comes off by rotating it.

• The client's eyes must stay fully closed, with protective pads on the eyelids so no light reaches the eye.

The LED UNICORN is worn on the head and controlled by a foot pedal. Press to light, lift your foot and it goes out. That is the part that changes the appointment: you never put a tool down, never reach for a switch, and the light is on only during the half second you actually need it.

At 395–405 nm it cures CHARISMA UV/LED adhesive on contact, which takes humidity out of the equation. The set behaves the same in a damp January room and a dry July one.

Do not immerse the lamp, control unit or power adapter in cleaning agent, disinfectant or an autoclave. Use only cleaners and disinfectants approved in your country and compatible with the materials. Styling decided in advance is styling you do not correct at minute forty. Draw the lengths and the transitions on the patch, or straight onto the skin when you are planning a brow or a lower line, then check the symmetry against the client's face before you start.
