The fiber is elastic and soft, which is the part that decides whether a fan opens evenly or fights you. The strip sits on a 2 mm yellow adhesive tape, wide enough to hold the lashes in place while you build the fan and narrow enough to stay out of the way. Same manufacturing control as ICONIC, smaller format, lower price.
